The Dark Threshold is a library of complete horror short stories by Elias Vance — modern dread, supernatural suspense, dark romance. Every story is also read aloud. There are no cliffhangers held hostage and no ad breaks: readers get a complete experience, then come back for more.
If you write, podcast, newsletter, or curate in the horror space, this program is built to pay you properly for sending readers our way.

One thing you should know first
Every story runs through an AI-assisted pipeline — drafting, multi-voice audio, layout — then past an originality check and 13 craft checks before it ships. The process is automated; the standard is not. We tell you before you apply, because you should know exactly what you'd be recommending and to whom. Some audiences are fine with that; some are not, and that is their call to make.
If your publication has a no-AI-content policy, please don't apply — it would waste your time and put you in an awkward position with your readers. Everyone else: read a few free stories first and judge the work on the page.
What we give you
- A tracked link — no coupon codes for your readers to forget.
- A media kit: cover art at full resolution, three lengths of ready-to-paste copy (one-liner, short paragraph, long review-style blurb), and story openings you can quote.
- Excerpt rights — quote up to 400 words of any published story with attribution and a link.
- Seasonal assets in October: Halloween-themed copy and banners, sent to you before the month begins.
- A real human reply to questions. No ticket system.
The rules
- No self-referral. You cannot buy through your own link to earn commission.
- No brand bidding. Don't buy search ads on "The Dark Threshold", "Elias Vance", or misspellings of them.
- No coupon-farm or misleading listings. Don't advertise discounts that don't exist.
- No spam — no unsolicited bulk email, no comment-section dropping, no private-message blasts.
- Disclose the relationship where your platform requires it (FTC and equivalents). One sentence is enough.
- Don't misrepresent the work. It is literary horror with supernatural and dark-romance edges. Not splatter, not true crime, not haunted-house attractions.
Break these and we remove the link and void unpaid commission. No drama, just the end of the arrangement.
How to join
This is an invitation-only program. If you'd like in, write to 250390562@qq.com (subject line: Affiliate) with:
- Where your audience lives (newsletter name and count, podcast, channel, subreddit, publication).
- Roughly how many people see a typical post or episode.
- One sentence on why these stories fit that audience.
If it's a fit, you'll get an invitation by email with your tracked link and the media kit. Most applications are answered within a few days.
Commissions, tracking, and payouts are processed by our payment provider, Creem. Your payout relationship and identity verification are handled on their side, not ours.
Not ready to apply yet? Join the free reader list and read a few stories first — you’ll see exactly the kind of work you’d be recommending.
