The Book is a digital collection of original fiction by Alden Cross. It is delivered as a digital download in PDF and EPUB formats. Because the Book is a digital product, no physical item will be shipped. All stories are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons, places, or events is coincidental.
Purchases are completed through our checkout provider, Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Telliskivi tn 57b/1, Tallinn, Estonia). Creem acts as the merchant of record for each transaction: it collects and processes your payment, issues your invoice, and handles applicable taxes. The payment will be processed by Creem as merchant of record. We do not store or process your payment details directly.
After a successful purchase, you will receive your download link(s) via email from Creem. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it.
The Book is offered on a pay-what-you-want basis with a suggested price of $2 USD. The price you choose is final at checkout, and applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Creem at checkout.
Because this is a digital product that is delivered instantly, all sales are final once the download link has been delivered. However, if you have a genuine issue — for example, the file is corrupted or you did not receive your download link — contact us at 250390562@qq.com within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate. Refund and buyer-protection questions may also be directed to Creem support.
The Book and all content on this Site, including text, titles, cover artwork, and branding, are the intellectual property of Alden Cross and are protected by copyright law. When you purchase the Book, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read it on your own devices for your personal use.
You may not resell, redistribute, share, upload, or publicly display the Book (or any part of it) without prior written permission. This includes uploading it to file-sharing services or sharing download links.
You agree not to use the Site to: violate any law; infringe the rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems; or interfere with the operation of the Site. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in prohibited conduct.
The Site and the Book are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we work to keep the Site available, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The stories are fiction intended for entertainment and should not be relied upon for any other purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alden Cross shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the Book.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the merchant's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
